Senior Quality Control Engineer- Mechanical

Job Description

1- Follow up the activities performed at the site to make sure they comply with the Quality Plan and time schedule of the project.

2- Receive Inspection Request from Site Engineer to ensure that the activities done comply with the shop drawing and the method of statement.

3- Send the external inspection request to the consultant for approval.

4- Carry out materials inspections when delivered to ensure they comply with the project specifications.

5- Carry out tests for all materials to ensure that they comply with the standard specifications for materials.

6- Follow up the reports prepared by the laboratory (Third Party) and resolve any issues when needed.

7- Take the necessary corrective actions in case there are non-conforming activities or materials in the site to maintain quality standards.

8- Attend kickoff meetings with the construction team to discuss the project status before starting the execution of new phases.

9- Attend meetings with consultant to resolve any issues.

10- Conduct the final inspection “snag” for the whole project to handle the handover of the project to the client.

11- Follow up the day-to-day to work of the engineers and provide them with the needed guidance to improve their performance.

Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering
  • 5-7 Years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
  • Excellent Command of Arabic & English language skills.
  • AutoCAD
