Electrical Procurement Section Head

•    Update and Implement Procurement strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
•    ensuring awareness and company compliance to all building codes and local construction guidelines.
•    Develop subcontractor and supplier insurance policies.
•    Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers to enhance quality procurement process to be aligned with business requirements.
•    Handle supplier and contract negotiations that involve understanding and knowledge of commercials and competitive pricing for packages related to large commercial structures / building projects.
•    Review Technical and Financial Comparison for different  items and recommend the best choice.
•    Work collaboratively with Tendering and Technical Office team coordinate supplier selection, credit and terms, track supplier performance standards, and conduct ongoing evaluation.
•    Conduct research via the Internet, catalogues, trade publications, and trade shows to identify potential suppliers.
•    Prepare purchase orders for procurement and coordinate with Purchasing Section.
•    Prepare procurement reports for the top management.
•    Prepare procurement execution plans and oversee the full array of materials management and procurement functions of purchasing, expediting, shipping, receipt and inspections, and logistics.
•    Optimize the material and supplier portfolio – that is what materials should be bought in bulk and consumed as needed from inventory by projects, and which materials are best to acquire as needed for specific projects.

• From 13 to 16 years of related Experience.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS office.
• AutoCAD – Revit MEP – Elite – ETAP – Panel Schedule
• PMP is an add value.
